I am looking for information to prove that my father Vincent A. Garrow of Niagara Falls New York was living in the USA and a US citizen during the years 1935-1945. My father was born in 1918. His address was 1739 Lockport Street, Niagara Falls, NY. His parents were John and Alice Garrow. He had 3 sisters and 3 brothers one brother died at a young age.
The reason I am looking for this information is that my father married my mother Ruby during the war and my brother John was born in Wales, UK. The US Govt is now denying that John is a US citizen and is asking him to prove that my father was a living in the US for 10 yrs prior to John's birth. It is really frustrating as we have my father’s original birth certificate, original Social Security card, Military discharge papers, and still the INS is giving my brother a hard time. We are looking for any information that can help my brother with prove to the INS that my dad was a citizen when he was drafted for WWII. If anyone out there can help, I would be most appreciative.
