Hi Victoria,

Don't know if you still check this or are looking for Garrows, but I have documented these families back to Canada. Mary's maiden name was Dandurand, eldest daughter of Marcel Dandurand and Marie Bougret. She was born May 13, 1856 in East Moline near Kankakee, Il. She married Francis Giroux circa 1878 in Iroquios Co., Il and lived with the Dandurand family until they moved to MN in 1886. For some reason after arriving in MN, they began to spell their name Garrow. If You wish I can provide more detail and lead you to the source material for documentation on this family. Mary is buried in the Calvary Catholic Cemetery near Marshall--she died in 1923.
