99.99 percent sure the great great grand parents you are looking for are Francois Gareau and Mary Roleau. The family name was spelled Garrow in Indiana and Minnesota. For some reason the spelling changed to Garreau around 1900.

A portion of this family farmed around Marshal before returning to Kankakee, Illinois.

I sent Ray Verslueys the family pedigree and some family history. Since then I have found birth certificate of a great Uncle born in Marshal, Minnesota.

Oh' My grandfather was born with the family name "Garrow".

Lyle Garreau
