I am still searching for my grandfather Joseph Garrity...I have since learned that he won an photo contest in 1949 and was featured in the "Boston Sunday Post" on Sept 18, 1949. He also appeared on WBZ-TV show called "All About People" with host Miss Ruth Ley around Sept 20, 1949. It stated that he was 31 and unmarried at that time. He was also employed by Northwest Airlines and flew chartered planes to Greenland, Ireland, etc. It said he became and electrical draftman for a Boston concern. His hobbies were hunting and fishing. I still do not know his birth date, where he lived exactly or who his parents are. If any of this jogs anyones brain, please email me. I also have a few pictures of him now that I would be happy to email to anyone. I hope to hear from someone soon.
