My great grandfather is John Garrity (Geraghty) b.1884 in Co. Mayo.
His parents were James Geraghty and Anne Geraghty(McNee).
John married Catherine Fergus then came over and settled in Chicago. I have his natralization papers from 1920, which means they would have been in the United States for at least five years prior. The family lived on Sheffield Ave. in Chicago.
John had a brother Michael.
