It seems logical on your thinking and I also thought this for several years due to the fact that I also
have a name very similar to Valdora. My spelling is different but very close Lucius Valdora Garison/Garrison.
If these two girls, Lucinda 1717/18 and Nancy abt 1825 aren't daughters ofDavid &Nancy
Reeves Garison, I don't have the slightest ideal who they would belong to.Only thing I know
for sure is H.K. Allen is listed as a nephew to James 1781, and it had to be through the
marriage of Lucinda Garrison.
I've been working with a expert researcher on the Garison/Garrison, Faries line from York.
Dan Troublfield has spent many years on these two families, and he's been a life saver for me.
We suspect Valdora/ Valdawra Norris is a son of James 1769 and a grandson of Arthur.
This would still make him a nephew to Sarah W., but by a different brother than what many has suspected.
From what Dan has sent me aboutJosina, V.N.is not mentioned in his estate papers.
And I would think he would have been at least mentioned if he was a son of Josina.
Dan thinks that V.N. & Ulysses are both sons ofJames, and both are living in AL. & MS. at the
same time in same counties.James had other children also living in the same places at the same
time frame, but I wondered why James stayed in York when most of the children moved south.
By chance I located grave sight for Ulysses under the spelling of Garison page.
Birth 14 June 1797D:9 Sept 1875 in Bell Co. Texas.Headstone for Ulysses is also spelled
with one R.
