Calder has posted both messages on the Garrison Compass board so you can read these.
John will be missed. He has helped so many of us, not only placing our lines but trying to explain how to read and understand DNA.
Dee posted this on the board last night.

Garrisons' Compass DNA Project Co-Administrator, John Wesley GARRISON, Jr. (died 6 Oct. 2007) to hopefully be buried at Camp Butler National Cemetery, Springfield, IL.
Mr. Tracy Garrison of Glenarm, IL, eldest son of John Wesley GARRISON, Jr. , explained to me via phone today that funeral services for his father will probably not occur immediately due to the delays inherent in Camp Butler National Cemetery, Springfield, Illinois processing John Wesley GARRISON, Jr.'s military service paperwork. So, no date for his Springfield, IL burial service has yet been set.
Camp Butler National Cemetery(approval for John's burial here is pending at this time)
