Noticed your note on Garrison in Rush Co, IN.Have you found any more?
I am looking for information on a Lucy Ann Garrison who married Charles M/H Woods in Rush Co 15 Ap 1838.Lucy was born ca 1822 in KY or IN.Charles was born ca 1812 KY.
Apparently they left Rush Co by 1850 as they are living at Bainbridge, Dubois Co, IN with 5 children.
By 1860 Charles has apparently died as Lucy/Louisa has married George W White. The Woods children are listed as White (11 total), plus 5 Miley children are living with them.George was born ca 1815 IN.
By 1870 George seems to have died as Lucy is still living in Dubois Co with 5 White children and 4 Woods children.
By 1880 Lucy is living at White River, Gibson Co, IN, next door to daughter Armilda and her family.Armilda/Milda Woods had married Franklin Milburn 21 Oct 1874 in Gibson Co.Lucy's son Sanford White is living with them.
1900 Lucy is living with daughter Armilda and her family still at White River, Gibson Co, IN.Lucy then dies at Patoka, Gibson Co, IN 6 Oct 1900.
After Lucy's death, daughter Armilda and family seem to leave Gibson Co, IN, but unknown where they go.Armilda finally ends up at Ashland, Jackson Co, OR with her son Victor. She died there in 1929, but had remarried to a Brittenham sometime prior to then. Son Victor died in 1949.One daughter Luella seems to disappear though the family story is that she married a J. W. Tyson. The other daughter Minnie marries Charles Wheeler in Gibson Co in 1898, but they move on to Illinois and eventually to Canada.Charles dies in 1916 and Minnie moves to Walla Walla, WA by about 1920.She died in Walla Walla in Apr 1973.Minnie's daughter was my grandmother Evelyn.Unfortunately Evelyn died when my mother was 11 months old and my mother was adopted by a member of her father's family. So we completely lost track for the Wheeler/Milburn/Woods/Garrison line.I have spent the last 25 years putting together what little I have.
Let me know if any of this sounds like it might tie in with your line.
