DECLARATION OF WIDOW FOR PENSION
UNDER ACT OF CONGRESS
State of Missouri, County of Bollinger, SS:
July 1890, personally appeared before me SARAH E. TALLEY a resident of Bollinger Mills, in the County of Bollinger, in the State ofMissouri. who being by me first duly sworn according to law and and deposes and says:
My age is now40years: I was the widow of Obadiah M. Garrison who served under the name of Obadiah M. Garrison_________, as a Private in Charles Prey A B company of the 50th regiment of Missouri Infantry vols, in the late war of the Rebellion, 1861-1865;
that my said husband enlisted on or about the 3rd day of October, A.D.1864, for the term of one year or during the war, and was honorably discharged therefrom on the Seventhday ofAugust 1865 holding the rank ofPrivate, and thus served11 months and 4 days.
That my said husband died at in Wayne County, Missouri, on the 23 rd day of
February, A.D. 1874, andI have since married James M. Talley
That my maiden name was Sarah E. Page
I was married to said Obadiah M. Garrison, at Greenville, Wayne Co., Mo,on
the Tenth day ofDecember1868, byEsguire S E Carlton
who was a ______________________, and no legal impediment existed to said marriage, neither my husband or myself having been previously married
That the following are the names and dates of the birth of all his legitimate children yet surviving who are under sixreen years of age, viz: at fathers death

Obadiah M. Garison of soldier by Sarah E. Garison, born February 20th 1874
