Garrisons from Georgia to Alabama to Indiana
On the 1850 Morgan County, Alabama, census, living four households away from James Catlett Garrison and family is a David H. (could be an "A") Garrison and wife whose name I can't read. He is age 27, his wife is age 23. James Catlett Garrison is age 31 and his wife is 25. James Catlett and David are close enough in age for David to be James Catlett's younger brother. David must have died before the 1860 census, because his wife, age 34 and 6 children are listed on the 1860 living next door to James Catlett. Two of the children, John B., and Martin A., were later founder in Noblesville Township, Hamilton County, Indiana.
I would like to make contact with anyone researching this family. My reason is that I would like to know if David and James Catlett are brothers, or if not, what is their kinship.
