David Garrison Mortgagor to Sarah Oakford, Mortgagee:For all that Plantation and Tract of Land situate in Piles
Grove Township in the County of Salem and is Bounded as follows:Viz: Begining at a Hickory near the corner line of
said Tract and running from thence one hundred and Twenty nine Rods to a Red oak tree marked W and Twelve
notches; from thence N.W. and by W Fifty two Rods to a White Oake, thence N.W. and by W. Fifty two Rods to a
White Oake thence North East 142 Rods to a Gum tree, from thence south East and by East 50 Rods to the place of
Begining. Containing in those bounds Thirty Nine acres of Land.
Mortgage Deed date the Third Day of February 1779 and was acknowledge the fifteenth day of February 1781 before
Robert Johnson, Esqr.
Principal sum One hundred Pounds in gold or Silver payable the Third day of February 1780 with Lawful interest on
the same Money.
Mortgage brought to the Office and Recorded the Fifth day of June 1781 by me Jacob Tagart, Clerk.
