The reason I asked is for this... (Sorry if this sounds jumbled and please let me know if you can't follow my train of thought)
In my tree I have a william Garrison born in Nc or In abt 1805/1810
he had these sons Franklin, Henry Harrison, Isaac Newton, Taylor J, William, Adam (Plus Two Daughter)
He went from Wi(1850 Census) where all the children were born to Mo (1860 & 1870 Census) to Ks (1880 Census)
Henry Harrison Garrison B. in Wi lived in Mo @ 17 with parents married in Nv. had these sons Franklin H.b. in Nv, Harrison C.b. in Ks in 1879, William Edgar b. in Ks in 1881, Adam Taylor b. 1888 in Mo. (plus Two Daughter)
Isaac Newton Garrison b. in Wi lived with parents in Mo @ 15 married in Nv had these sons Charles, William, Frank, Geroge, Walter James, Roy, Earl, Isaac all born in Nv.
Taylor b. in Wi lived with his parents in Mo @ 12 is on the 1880 census for Trego Co Ks with a son Bernard b. 1888 in Mo.
Can you see the trend of using the same name through out the family (Although that happens in almost all families)The Name William Harrison Garrison Cought my attention
with the birthdate being 1892 I was hopeing that he might be another child of Taylor J. Garrison who I know was living in Ks in 1880
