In hopes of aiding your search. Are you aware of the GARRETSON NEWS? That series of Garretson data, from the mid-40s to late 50s, closely chronicles the Delaware Garretsons that retained the Garretson spelling. Other later publications, of which I authored two, explain the transition of the Dutch Garretson family of Delaware into the Garrason and Garrison families of the South. Mason, the son of John of Sumner Co., TN WAS not related to the Isaacs; as many of the Garrison families aren't. There are distinctive Dutch, Swedish, German, AND French Garrison families (French is the origin of the de Garrissons from which Isaac was "begotten." I, with Bill, will help you in any way possible.Sam
