Peggy, have you looked under other Garrison spellings?Cornelius in 1714, STaten Island sounds Dutch. Try Garretson, Gerritzen. My Garrison isn't a Dutch name, but derived from the aforementioned Dutch, courtesy of the British rule.We had a Cornelius but he went to Delaware and I think it was later than the death of your Cornelius.Can't seem to find the dates on him this minute!Seems to me he came from Pennsylvania.
I'm interested in these Brittain aunts. I have a line of Brittains which shows up in NC and then Tennessee.Do you know anything about your Brittain line? I'd love to hear from you!Marti at [email protected].
