I am looking for a J. (maybe James) GARRINGER that was in Warren Twp Bremer Co Ia in 1880. The census of 1880 lists him with wife, Sarah (SIMMONS) and 2 children: Nelly (5)and Walter (3). Another unknown daughter was married to Charles LEVY of NYC in 1924 when Sarah died. The obituary of Sarah Ann Garringer in Oct. 1924 states: "Her husband died many years ago." I have more inforamtion on Nellie. Any help would be greatly aprreciated!
