Your Garringer lines tie in with my David Van Garringer of Jay county, Indiana. His father the brother of John Jeffries and father Jacob M. Garringer wf Ann Moore.
Jacob drove hogs to Chicago back in the earlier days (probably 1960) and said that Chicago was no bigger than Portland is now. A Wm Hines was the grandson who said this of his grandfather Jacob. Some place in Illinois Jacob died and no record of his death is located. Nobody knows where buried or why he was not returned to his home state.
Not sure where Martha "Patsy" Ann Moore, Garringer is buried.
