Well,

I suppose that Samuel Lewis might have had a sister who married a man with the surname Lewis. It may also be that his wife Esther Fisher had a sister who married into the Taylor family. If Hester (aka Esther) were a daughter to such a union then she'd be...Hester Taylor.

I'll have to broaden my search to include the Fisher and Lewis families. If anyone has any info please contact me.
