Dear Linda:
This is information I found in a book "Echoes of Their Voices by Carl R. Baldwin p.246 and 247.
1781 James and Samuel (a brother) came to ILL.
1786 Indians kidnapped two small children of Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Garrison (James's brother). They were returned a year later. It is known that the Garrisons had two young daughters at this time, Jane and Mary. When these two girls grew to marriageable age Jane married Benjamin Ogle
b. 16 Oct 1769 MD. Ogels are also from DEL. (I have the Ogle's Family History). Mary married John Moredock.
Samuel was killed by Indians in 1788 in ILL. His wife was Jane (no information on her as yet). What I am wondering is did James and Isabella raise the two girls as their own, daughters by the name of Mary and Jane are also listed as their children. Phyllis Peoples
