One of my great grandfathers was David Garren. He was the brother of Absalom Garren. Their parents Andrew Garren Sr. and Mary Fouts from NC also. Mary Fouts was born about 1759 in Pipe Creek Waters, NC. Her father was born about 1723 in Rohrbach, Rhenish Palatinate which was a part of the old German Empire. He died in Randolph Co, NC. Andrew Garren, Sr's family also can be traced back to Gloucester, Germany. If you have any information on James Garron, Sr. and wife Berta Sporlinger I would really appreciate it. I am hung there. He was born around 1665/66.
