Thanks for your response. I also ordered the book last year about Governor Garrard from Higginson Publishing Co. It would be nice to know about the updated book if there is one.
My husband descends also from Mary Garrard Edwards. Their daughter, Susan Waller Edwards who married John Rankin Tull is his 4th great grandmother, so Mary Garrard Edwards would be his 5th greatgrandmother. Susan Edwards and John Tull had a daughter named Mary Elizabeth Tull who married Clark Marvin Comstock. Their daughter, Mary Adaline Comstock married William Duncan Jones--they divorded and she married a Hickey. Mary Adaline Comstock Jones had 2 children by William D. Jones: Charles Marvin and Mollie. My husband comes from the Charles Marvin Jones line.
What line do you desend from on Mary Garrard Edwards.?
I am desperately trying to find info on the Mary Adaline Cosmtock and if you knew anything at all, please let me know. She and William Duncan Jones divorced and the 2 children were raised by William Duncan Jones. The family just doesn't know what became of Mary Adaline except that she married a Hickey and lived in St. Francis Co., AR. in 1870. The family would love to know what became of her. She would be a great granddaughter of Mary Garrard Edwards and she is listed in the book on page 45.
I may put out another query about the update on this book.
