Garrards in Floyd Co., GA in the 1900s

I am looking for info on the family of Clarence Garrard who married Mary C. Mozley sometime after 1911. I have them in the census of 1920:

1920 Census Floyd Co., GA, Barkers Dist, ED # 87, Page , HH# 88:

James Garrard, 70
Miriam, 68

HH# 89:

Clarence, 30
Mary C., wife, 37
Beautrice M. Mozley, daughter, 16
Miles C., son, 12
Eloise, daughter, 10
Allannon (Sp?) N. Garrard, son, 2 4/12

Mary is buried with her first husband, Barney Mozley,in the New Prospect Baptist Church Cemetery, Floyd Co., GA. The date on her tombstone, according to a cemetery listing, is 1919, but that is obviously wrong.

The children of Barney Mozley are listed in the probation of the will of Zachariah Taylor Mozley of Birmingham, AL. Barney died in 1911. He was the son of Miles and Mary Ann Smith Mozley. This is the info given:

Mrs. W. R. Burkhalter, R. F. D. #5, Rome, Ga.;
Miss Beatrice Mozley, No. 6, East 8th Street, Rome, Ga.;
Mrs. K. W. Meadows, No. 6, East 8th Street, Rome, Ga.;
M. C. Mozley, 168 Center Street, Akron, Ohio;

There is two of the daughters in the 1920 census, but I have not found the other one. Does anyone have any info on this family? It apprears that Clarence is the son of James and Miriam Garrard.

I would appreciate any info on this family. I am looking for the desc. of Barney Mozley and Mary, specifically, but I am also interested in any other children that Mary and Clarence may have had.

Thank you

Mona Herrin
