The Garnett and Muscoe names link up with my father's family. The Brooke's were prominent in Essex from the very beginning. usually in the court system or close thereto.

I do know that both Richard and Robert Garnett, the Confederate generals, were sons of a Brooke mother. Her first name escapes me at the moment.

This is pretty much ad lib, but I hope it helps. Let me know if you can add anything, yourself.
