I am seeking information about a Catherine Garnett, who was probably born about 1750, married to John Shackelford and was the mother of John W., Mordecai and Sarah Shackelford, Her husband died in Clarke County, Georgia in 1814. It is likely that the Shackelford-Garnett family live in Richmond (Augusta) or Columbia County, Georgia in the late 1700's, having probably emigrated to Georgia from Virginia. Any help would be much appreciated.
