Sewel W. Garnett, Sr. b 1803 in Shelbyville, Shelby Co, Ky.He married Nancy Ann Pepper, dau of Elijah Pepper and Sarah Neville O'Bannon in WOODFORD Co., Kentucky. After marriage, they moved to SPENCER Co. Kentucky until 1865. They then moved to CHARITON County Missouri until he died in 1888.
Children:
Harris T. b 21 June 1840, became a doctor.
Sewel W. Jr, b June 1846
Alice, b ca 1853

Sewel W. Garnett's father was Benjamin Garnett and mother was Mary "Polly" Woolfolk, dau of Sowel (Sewel) Woolfolk Sr. of Woodford Co. Ky.
