I'm interested in corresponding with folks who have knowledge of Eleazar William Garner--particularly with respect to his emigration from Yorkshire to Ontario in ~1861-62 and his apparent FIRST marriage to Ruth Mitchell, which appears to have taken place in "Canada West" (Upper Ontario) in about 1862 (based on the birth dates of his many children). I am aware of his first marriage in the UK and his marriage to Ruth Mitchell in 1878 in Toronto and have my own opinions about why it took place. I am also interested in information beyond the LDS records and census on his career as a minister in Canada and the US and his relationship to the Eleazar William Garner who married Lucinda Jane Brown in Ontario in 1879.
