Seeking Garner Line [ South Texas ] [ Frank William Garner ]

My name is Thomas Roy Garner. I was born in Galveston (1970) and my father's name is Frank William Garner (Deceased), my mum's name is Mary Ann Morris (not sure if its Mary-Ann or MaryAnn). I'm seeking the Garner and Morris family line and don't know where to start.

I can tell you that I was born in Galveston, My father is from Dallas (his father was some type of police official, high-ranking, I believe he was a Chief of Police) and my mum was from Beeville Texas.

i'm afraid that is about all the information at this time. I'm pestering my mom for information but its like pulling teeth from a vicious dog (i.e., not fun!).

Anyway, I'm working on my Genealogy and I have mapped out my wife's side of the family, gets a little foggy around the 1600-1800 time frame but I am very excited and I'm making all the newbie mistakes, and well, I want to expand my horizon and start working the goals correctly...

If you have any information and/or just want to chit/chat, pls contact me here and/or I will be happy send you my MyHeritage file. I'm working it but it lacks the proper "citation" and I'm working that side of the coin (trying to beef it up).

Any tips and/or tricks, pls advise, and feel free to e-mail me, I am ALWAYS around and love to talk, I'm on FaceBook, Gmail, MyHeritage for sources... thanks!
