My grandmother was Sarah Emma Lena Garner, and I think her brother was Andrew Jackson Garner, born June 27, 1902. I too am trying to find out if she was part Native American. She married my grandfather, Charles Lee Edgmon. My father was Charles Robert Edgmon but he died when I was 16. He always said his mother was part Native American. I have never been able to verify this. She was born Sep. 30,1903 and died 1938 so I never knew her. In fact I have never known any of the Garner family. I am doing more research now, but I haven't been able to come in contact with anyone. I just happened to see your message on the Garner Family Genealogy Forum. Did you by chance find your answer, and do you think we are talking about the same people? Would like to hear from you. Maybe we are related in some way. Sandy Edgmon Ogden
