Here's what I am saying.
I have found 3 descendants of 3 of Parish Garners different sons.Thomas, Wyatt, James Giles. My son's Garners--Wyatt Garner. My son's y-match-James Giles.A member of SMGF--his earliest known ancestor is William Carroll Garner--his line goes back to Thomas Garner b. 1744. These 3 all have the same y-dna in the slower changing markers.

This is the website of Garner/Gardner dna project.Anybody is welcome to join by the way.
Ok, so then you have the descendants listed here of John Garner they seem to be alot different then these 3 Garners that descend from Parish Garner, and then the one in SMGF
The relation of William Caroll Garner is 10 off when comparing 41 markers to 41 markers of John Garner's descendants. This is what I am saying. Forgive me if it is complicated. You can search the y-dna database using the default numbers and searching the surname Garner to see what I mean.
That is why for my purpose I need someone closer in generations to my son--seems to be some confusion higher up?Maybe there are more Garner families? I don't know.
