Looking for anything on JAMES EDWARD GARNER.
He supposedly died in the Battle of Chickamauga (Civil War).
He was a turn-key (keeper of the keys) for the Sardis, Mississippi jail before entering the Civil War.He was married to MARTHA ANN WILLIAMS from Ala or Ga.She died 6 months after him.
