Sorry it took me so long to respond. I haven't had much time this year to devote to my family tree research.

This is all I have on Barbara Garmon/James Yancy...

Barbara's parents: Michael Garmon & Mary Campbell. My information shows Barbara born in 1826 and marrying James Yancy in Forsyth County Georgia between between 1843 and 1845. The record is in Forsyth County's Marriage Book A. I believe they had at least 2 children, James M. (born 1844) and Richard (born 1849). I also have a note about another son, John, but it shows his birthdate as 1839...so either he isn't their son, or the marriage book date is incorrect, OR they had him before they were married.

That's all the information I have. If I come across anything else, I'll let you know.
