It would help to know your grandparents & parents names. I have records of a Margaret Emeline Garlington (born 01/28/1858) the dau of Dalphon Ripley Garlington & his wife, Mariah Clark. It appears Margaret Emeline Garlington was born in Newton County, Texas. She married J.P. Chance and as of 1900 they lived in Tyler County Texas. They had several children, which included 2 or 3 duaghters (two of the infant Chance children are buried in the Weaver Cemetery in Newton County, Texas). They had at least one son, name Willie (William)Chance. Is this your family? Hope I could help.
