Thomas and Mary Gaffield are my 4th g-grandparents. I have never been able to find much about them before Ohio. I am descended through their daughter Mary, who married Ephraim Munsell in Licking County Ohio. (Thomas's son Rev. John Gaffield married Ephraim's sister Harriet also in Licking Co.) I have good info from Logan County, including their estate records. Some of their descendants live within a few miles of their tombstones. It is interesting that the Gaffield's lived in a log cabin, even though they were quite wealthy according to their estate.
