megan....I have a very old book, LIFE OF JAMES A GARFIELD. published by George Stinson & Company, copyright 1881. on page 369, it tells of prayers and scriptures read by Bishop Bedell of the Episcopal diocese of Ohio. Then Rev. Isaac Errett delivered a address taking for his text the following: "And the archers shot King Josiah, and the king said to his servant, 'Have me away, for I am sore wounded.'" Followed by almost three pages of what I think is an eulogy. much to long to type. If you can't find this book, let me know and I can send you a copy of the eulogy. Am very interested, because my husband's family is supposed to be related to Garfield, but have not made any progress in proving or disproving this fact. BJSMI
