Pamela, I am very interested in your comment regarding Selucius Garfield that was married to Sarah E. Perry. and lived in Gallipolis Ohio.
I have a letter that was mail to an M.A. Garfield from an L. Perry that lived in Gallipolis. The date of the letter is Jan. 8, 1866.
M. A. Garfield, I beleive was my gggrandfather. At the time he was living in Waterlou Wis.
If you would like a copy of it, email me your address and I will forward a copy to you. Maybe between the two of us, we can make a connection. I have a feeling your Selucius was my gggrandfather's brother.
