I've just been informed that a family bible was likely passed down through Putnam Gaffield's son (William P. Garfield). William P. spent many years inthe Wolcott, IN area (Justice of the Peace). His descendents scattered to Kentland, IN; Kankakee, IL; California; Wyoming; Georgia; and Michigan. If anyone has any information on this family bible or on William's descendents, drop us a line.

BTW, the bible should record the marriage of Nancy Gaffield to Isaac C. Denney (Denny) ABT 1962. It is the only known record of this marriage.
