My husband's g-g-g-grandmother, Polly Garfield Letcher, was alledged to be President Garfield's aunt...so that might be one sister! Does anyone know any other siblings?
Polly had a daughter, Mary Ann, who married Edward Barns..they divorced around 1856 and he raised their 3 children.
