Hi Martin
Oh my goodness, great excitement, so wonderful to find all this info on the Garfields, I've been searching so long.

Can you tell me please is the John Garfield aged 9 in the 1851 Whitechapel census the same one at Bermondsey, 1881 census, married to Elizabeth, daughter Elizabeth.

The reason I ask is that the Bermonsey John Garfield is my g/grandfather. I have his death cert dated 1888 at London Hospital Whitechapel. He was a Dock Labourer
Suzannah is listed in the 1881 census aged 34 as living in Coventry with her Uncle and Aunt, George and Albina Beaumont.

Thank you, thank you, Sylvia
