I am looking for records on Philomelia Garfield, daughter of William (Billy) Brewer Garfield and Mary (?) Marshall. Philomelia married Elbridge Gary Chapin in 1837 in Genessee Co., N.Y. and then traveled with him to Holly Michigan. We need to find birth and marriage records for both Philomelia and Billy Brewer Garfield. We would also like to find the dates for the 9 other children of Billy Brewer Garfield and his wife Mary.
