CASTOR, LA - Funeral services for Toby Lynn Gardner, 35, will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, October 2, 2009 at Abundant Life Worship Center in Coushatta, La. under the direction of Rockett Funeral Home in Ringgold, La. Burial will follow at Ebenezer Cemetery in Castor, La. Officiating the services will be Rev. Rusty Hathcock.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 pm until 9:00 pm on Thursday, October 1, 2009 at Rockett Funeral Home in Ringgold, La.
Toby was born on March 30, 1974 and passed away on September 28, 2009. He was preceded in death by his parents, Aubrey and Paulette Gardner; his paternal grandfather John Gardner; and his maternal grandparents, Alton and Retha Tilley.
Left to cherish his memories are his wife, Melanie Gardner of Castor, La.; his son, Colby Howell of Castor, La.; his brother, Tim Gardner and his wife Stacy of Coushatta, La.; his sister, Tammy Byrd and her husband Harold of Castor, La.; paternal grandmother, Athola Gardner of Texarkana, Ar.; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Mike and Jo Ann Sutton of Castor, La.; three brothers-in-law, Jamie Warren and his wife Susan of Castor, La., James Sutton of Haughton, La., and Dwayne Sutton and his wife Heather of Brandon, Ms.; two sisters-in-law, Mona LeBleu and her husband Paul of Castor, La., and Mary Kimble and her husband Troy of Carthage, Ms.; a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
Active pallbearers will be Tim Gardner, Harold Byrd, Corry Burley, Jerry Warren, Jimmy Stewart, and Ron Cooper. Honorary pallbearers will be Dexter Parks, Eric Bogus, Jeremy Warren, Josh LaGrande, Lance Sullivan, Bobby Holly, Taylor Gardner, Dale Hay, Charles Lawson, and Barrett Bedingfield.
