My gguncle, Carl G Gardner was born in Neun Rirchers Germanyin 1868. He immigrated to American and married Ida A Oerter on Oct 28, 1896 in Quincy, IL. They had one daughter, Mildred born 10/12/1899 in Quincy. Carl was a music teacher and played the Zither. By 1910 the family had moved to Pennsylvania. When Mildred grew up she was an accomplished pianist. I know when Carl passed away and when Mildred passed away but I cannot find out what happen to Ida. Mildred was never married and had no children. I will not beable to trace Ida's death date unless there is a Gardner sibling out there who knew Carl.
