I have a few old obituaries that I will post, hopefully someone can tell me more about them that are buried at Mayo. March 5, 1931 { b. 1875 } MISS LEILA GARDNER died at her home on Chesnee rt.3 Tuesday after a lingering illness. Funeral services will be held at Grahams Chapel, interment in family burying ground. She is survived by the following brothers and sisters: J.P. GARDNER, of Greenville, JOE , MARTIN, MARCO, C.H. GARDNER, MRS. LIDDIA PRICE, MRS. ELLEN CROMER, MRS. SARA CASH and MISS EMMA GARDNER, all of this county. - March 31, 1966 MRS. NOLA GARDNER, 81, Cowpens rt.1., died at the General hospital after long illness. Widow of CHARLEY H. GARDNER, member of Orchard St. Bapt. Ch. Survivors: daughters, MISS ELSIE GARDNER of the home, MRS. PLUMA MULLINAX, Gaffney; sons, N.N. of the home and RALPH GARDNER, Graniteville; brother, JERRY TURNER, Spartanburg; 7 grandchildren and 3 gt. gt. Services at the church, burial Gardner Family Cemetery. - March 26, 1938 Funeral for MRS. SARAH C. CASH, 76, w/o HENRY T. CASH of Mayo, will be conducted at Graham Chapel near Mayo, interment in church cemetery. MRS. CASH died at her home after an illness of nine years. MRS. CASH is survived by her husband and 3 daughters, MRS. L.L. LEMASTER, MISS HESTER CASH, MISS DAISY CASH, all of Mayo; 6 grandchildren; 4 brothers, J.B. GARDNER, Greenville, MARK GARDNER and CHARLIE GARDNER of Mayo and MARTIN GARDNER of Columbia; 2 sisters, MRS. LYDIA PRICE of Cowpens and MRS. LUCY CROME of Columbia. - [ who were Albert and Nora Price ? There's no dates on the markers. John Henry Cash married Louise A. Gardner, who was Louise Gardner's parents ?
