Could someone tell me if they are related to a E.M. Gardner born abt. 1810 in Effingham, Ga. and his wife Rebecca Wilson born June 10, 1807 and died before 1851. They married May 14, 1838. I would like to know if they had any children and what their names were. I found a E. M. Gardner in the 1860 Rapides Parish Louisiana Census. He was 53 years old and had 2 girls living with him named Rachel age 16 and Mary Gardner age 14. No spouce listed. If this is the same E. M. Gardner it would make sense because his wife Rebecca died before 1851.
