Craton/Creighton was in War of 1812, enlisted at Camden 10/1814 - 12/1815.He filed for a pension in 1876 at which time he showed he was married twice.First to Sarah GARDNER who died 10/12/1843 in Liberty Hill, and then to Sarah PRICE, widow of John GRIGSBY, on 1/2/1844.He and Sarah PRICE GRIGSBY were married near Gladden Grove Fairfield Co at home of Abner PRICE, probably her father.
William Sims WILLIAMS is my gr2grandfather.He located to Alabama by 1839.I am trying to find his ancestors and am stuck on Craton and Sarah nee GARDNER WILLIAMS.
Any help with Sarah GARDNER in that area of SC would be welcome!
