Hello Miles....Thank you so much for the info on Cyrus Gardiner family, and especially for the detailed source material included. Your compilation sounds excellent and I sure hope you are right! Several years ago I checked several birthplaces given for Cyrus in various documsnts inc census records including New Sharon NH and did not find him though I found several lines that could have containeda son his age. FYI they were New Salem,MA and New Hampshire,New Sharon ME and NH and Lynn MA which is Cyrus's birthplace as stated on his son Levi's death record. Since your record is much more complete than anything I ever gathered I am inclined to accept it as is but sure wish we could find a birth or other record that definitly ties him to the family of Abel Gardiner. You state you have concluded your research on this family but would welcome your thoughts re My doubts. And are you descended from Sally Gardiner? I believe my Mother knew her as Aunt Sally Ranger so had to ask! [email protected]
