John: The source of the following information is from the book "Gardiner Generations " volume I by thomas Richard Gardiner: George S. Gardiner born 1841 in Prince George's co., Md and died 1897. married 13 June, 1865 Agnes Bowling dau of Aloysius Bowling and Anna Maria Summers. He was son of Geo. Washington Gardiner and Ann Amanda Dyer. Children were: Aloysius Bowling Gardiner born 1866; George Alton Gardiner born 1868 in Charles Co., Md; Edwin Mary Gardiner born 1847; Mary Isabelle Gardiner born 1871 Charles co., Md. ;Mary annetta Gardiner born 1873; John Francis Gardiner born 1874 Charles Co, Anna Amada born 1876 Charles Co., and Mary Agnes Gardiner born 1878...
