I have an emailable photo of Mary Parilla Gardener b. 1840-1. in Pennsylvania. She married Norman Nelson Blake in Ohio before 1860. He was a teacher and she is said to have been one of his students. They moved to a farm near Johnsonville, Wayne County, Illinois about 1866
All I know of her parents is that her mother was named Elizabeth b. 1808 in Pennsylvania and that her father was born in New York. Her mother, a widow, moved to Illinois with them. Elizabeth also had a brother Miram Gardener.
Mary's mother Elizabeth's parents were born in Ireland.
Any help welcome, happy to share the photo.
