I came across the following article in The Harrison Telegraph, May 7, 1825, page 1, Cadiz, Ohio. Hope this will be a help to someone.
NOTICE
All Persons Indebted to the Estate of WILLIAM H. GARDENER late of the county Fayette, State of Pennsylvania, decease, are requested to come forward and make Settlement immediately, and all those having claims against said estate will please to present their accounts legally attested for settlement within one year from this date to me in Cadiz Harrison County State of Ohio, where letters of Administration have been granted for the settlement of said estate.
