Charlotte...a pleasure to find someone who knows the Barksdales and Mabrys....thanks for the info,helped me fill in a few blanks...I'm a little confused on one point...Robert M.White....i have him marrying Sarah Armistead Mabry(dau of Thomas Jones Mabry)....don't know where this came from honestly...i see you have him marrying Ann Garden Barksdale(dau of Randolph)...hmmm...Ann G.White and her two children Mary E. and Robt.M White were living with my ggg-grandfather Thomas Jones Mabry Jr.and his wife Sarah Ann Ridley Buchanon Mabry in the 1850 Rutherford Co.census,we always have thought this was his sister Sarah Ann Armistead Mabry who was the widow of Robert White...Their widowed mother Sarah Garden Barksdale Mabry also was living in their household in 1850...You sure this isn't Thomas's sister and not his cousin?...Anyway look forward to more questions and answers...Steve
