Daniel Gard - Born abt. 1846 ILL

I am looking for information on Daniel Gard, Born about 1846 in Illinois. He married Ethel Garberson, probably in Kansas. Ethel was born in Ottawa, Franklin, KS in 1885. In the 1920 census Daniel, Ethel and their 3 children were living in Benton Co., AR with Arminta Garberson (Ethel's mother). Daniel and Ethel's 3 children are Ethel, Marcus & Arminta. In the 1930 census Daniel & Ethel are in Fort Dodge Soldier Home, Ft Dodge, Ford, KS. The children are in "State Training School" in Cowley Co., KS. In the 1950s I can remember visiting Ethel in the Ft Dodge soldier Home where she still lived. I don't know what happened to any of her children. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Jeanette
