My surname is Morgan and I am a descendent of Emmanuel Garcia Morgan born c.1800 in Fayol, Azores. (His children also had the double barrelled surname of Garcia Morgan).The Garcia was dropped over the generations. Emmanuel was married to Louise Irakim (the 'Irakim' is not easy to read on old certificates and may be miss spelt).
Does anyone know anything about the parents of Emmanuel Garcia Morgan?
